【獎學金申請】2024 Google東亞博士獎學金計畫申請資訊 (電機系博士班學生申請截止日: 113.04.15 下午4時)
Google 來信通知2024年東亞博士獎學金計畫申請資訊，此項計畫旨在表揚及獎勵在電腦科學或相關學科、以及其他潛力研究領域中，擁有卓越表現的傑出博士生，2024研究領域為：
· Human-Computer Interaction and Visualization
· Silicon Research (Algorithms, Architecture, Open Source Tooling)
此項獎學金計畫為期一年，並提供10,000美元的一次性獎學金和Google研究導師，欲了解更多關於如何申請、申請資格與條件等資訊，可至此網站查看：http://www.google.com/intl/en_cn/university/research/phdfellowship.html。
重要資訊
1. 此計畫以院校為單位，各校最多可提名3位學生參加此計畫。另為了鼓勵更多在電腦科學領域中的女性持續發展其專長，若提名人數超過2位，Google建議其中包括女性。
2. 若申請者已獲得其他公司之獎學金計畫支持或曾獲得本獎學金，則不符合此計畫之參與條件（若由政府或非營利性組織提供之獎學金則不在此限）。
3. 申請資格要求：Google東亞博士獎學金要求申請人在獲獎期間(2024年9月~2025年6月)必須為全職學生，預計在2025年6月前畢業之博士生，則不符合申請資格。
4. 各系所推薦1名博士生，電機系博士班學生如符合申請資格與條件，且有意願提出申請，請務必於113.04.15(一) 下午4時前將申請文件電子檔e-mail寄送至eeoffice@my.nthu.edu.tw , 另須將申請文件紙本一份送至系辦公室(台達館5樓503室/碩博士班業務承辦人員曾小姐)。本項獎學金須經系所主管審核與推薦，故逾期不予受理。
申請需備資料如下（請合併成一個PDF檔）：
o Student CV with links to website and publications
o Short (1-page) CV of the student's primary advisor
o 2-3 letters of recommendation from those familiar with the nominee's work (At least one from the thesis advisor)
o Research / dissertation proposal (maximum 3 pages, excluding references)
o Student essay response (350-word limit) to: Describe the desired impact your research will make on the field and society, and why this is important to you.
o Student essay response (350-word limit) to: Describe an example of your leadership experience in which you have positively influenced others, helped resolve disputes or contributed to group efforts over time.
o Transcripts of current and previous academic records (Official preferred; unofficial accepted)
Google收到來自各地的提名後，將進行內部評選，預計將於7月份公布獎學金名單。
