【獎學金申請】2025 Google 東亞博士獎學金計畫申請資訊 (電機系博士班學生申請截止日: 114.04.15 下午4時)

Google 來信通知2025年東亞博士獎學金計畫申請資訊，此項計畫旨在表揚及獎勵在電腦科學或相關學科、以及其他潛力研究領域中，擁有卓越表現的傑出博士生，2025研究領域為：

• Algorithms and Optimization
• Health Research
• Human-Computer Interaction
• Machine Learning and ML Foundations
• Machine Perception
• Natural Language Processing
• Quantum Computing
• Silicon Research (Algorithms, Architecture, Open Source Tooling)

重要資訊

1. 此計畫以院校為單位，各校最多可提名3位學生參加此計畫。另為了鼓勵更多在電腦科學領域中的女性持續發展其專長，若提名人數超過2位，Google建議其中包括女性。

2. 若申請者已獲得其他公司之獎學金計畫支持或曾獲得本獎學金，則不符合此計畫之參與條件（若由政府或非營利性組織提供之獎學金則不在此限）。

3. 各系所推薦1名博士生，電機系博士班學生如符合申請資格與條件，且有意願提出申請，請務必於114.04.15(二) 下午4時前將申請文件電子檔e-mail寄送至eeoffice@my.nthu.edu.tw  , 另須將申請文件紙本一份送至系辦公室(台達館5樓503室/碩博士班業務承辦人員曾小姐)。本項獎學金須經系所主管審核與推薦，故逾期不予受理。

申請需備資料如下（合併成一個PDF檔）：

o Student CV with links to website and publications

o Short (1-page) CV of the student's primary advisor

o 2-3 letters of recommendation from those familiar with the nominee's work (At least one from the thesis advisor)

o Research / dissertation proposal (maximum 3 pages, excluding references)

o Student essay response (350-word limit) to: Describe the desired impact your research will make on the field and society, and why this is important to you. Include any personal, educational and/or professional experiences that have motivated your research interests.

o Student essay response (350-word limit) to: Describe an example of your leadership experience in which you have positively influenced others, helped resolve disputes or contributed to group efforts over time.

o Transcripts of current and previous academic records.

提名截止後，Google將進行內部評選，預計將於8月份告知獲獎名單。

此外，Google另提供「學生差旅補助金」以支持東亞地區的傑出學生（大學及研究生皆適用），使其能夠有機會參加國際型的會議。這項計畫隨時可申請（持續收件中），請系所協助一併向學生宣達：申請連結。
