Biography:
Kun-Chih (Jimmy) Chen is currently an Assistance Professor of Computer Science and Engineering Department of National Sun Yat-sen University. His research interests include algorithm development, VLSI architecture design and implementation for Network-on-Chip (NoC), neural netwoek, and fault-tolerant system designs. Dr. Chen served as a reviewer for many international journals and international conferences, such as IEEE TC, IEEE TPDS, IEEE TCAD. Besides, he is invited to be the Guest Editor of Journal of Systems Architecture and serve as a Technical Program Committee (TPC) chair of the International Workshop on Network on Chip Architectures (NoCArc), 2018. Dr. Chen received the Best Paper Award of 2014 International Symposium on VLSI Design, Automation and Test (VLSI-DAT'14), Best PhD Dissertation Award of IEEE Taipei Section in 2014, NSYSU Excellent Teaching Award in 2017, NSYSU-CSE Excellent Tutor Award in 2017, and NSYSU New Faculty Award in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Besides, he was also invited to publish a book chapter in "Routing Algorithm in Network-on-Chip," which was published by Springer in November 2013.
