Abstract:

According to the related technologies of computer vision and microcomputer controller, we develop a stand-alone robot prototype, which possesses the ability of operating a personal computer like a computer user, thus we call it a Computer User Robot or CUbot. Based on a mission given, the CUbot can perceive the content displayed on the PC’s screen, and then control the PC’s mouse or keyboard for performing the interaction with PC like a computer user. There is not any wire or wireless communications between them when CUbot operates PC.
